Intrade CEO dies on Mount Everest

You don't know me, so your extrapolations mean you are an idiot. The only thing that makes extreme sports people special is their worship and dedication to their own adrenaline rush. You could not understand if you were paid. ....and bullshit, pretty much anyone dedicated to it can do it.

Intrade CEO dies on Mount Everest

Any idiot with enough cash can do it. A blind man, a one legged man, and many rather ordinary people have done it. Nothing noble about it. Most people don't want to. What sheer moronic delusion extreme sports fans have. Noble, 'allowed to' .... my ass. It all about the adrenaline and...

Intrade CEO dies on Mount Everest

What's so damned noble about climbing a rock? It does nothing but attempt to satisfy the some climber's egotistical delusion that it is somehow meaningful beyond their own imagination. Mostly I think it also comes from their adrenaline need, so what?

    OECD Better Life Index 24/05/2011

Climate and culture, just me. Certain averages probably are indicative of gross generalities but averages applied to such a diverse place like the US are almost meaningless. I think you might agree that Yellowknife and Toronto are like two different planets, so to say all of Canada has one...

    OECD Better Life Index 24/05/2011

I'm sure it makes Canadians feel better, but really, it's a bunch of BS arbitrary oversimplified measures that mean very little and have no meaningful variation among the top 10-20. No way I would personally live in Sweden.

    QE2 was a bust

What's the cost creating new money at such a rate? Good question, but given the way things are being run by Obama et al. I would guess way more than $600B.

A message to those that constantly complain

There is an important point that is consistently missed by people who claim hard work = success. Trading in markets by its very nature must have losers. If everyone worked 100,000 hours and had rock solid discipline it would not matter, there still must be losers. There is one and only one...

Day Trading Is A Dead End Job

Dalmation, Do you realize how many restaurants there are out there? Being the best means being on top of thousands of others. If you think it so easy then you need to stop trolling here and go make your fortune. Your oversimplified and delusional sweeping generalizations tells me you...

Day Trading Is A Dead End Job

I was thinking the same thing, "one can easily be the most creative and smartest in their industry"?? anyone who would say such a dumb thing must either be 19 or delusional. Exactly stocky, why do folks wanna save the world? I don't know

Lenny Dykstra 'Nails' Says He Hasn't Made A Losing Trade In 2 Years

Lenny said he didn't get stupid overnight. He's right, I think it was a long process starting in the 80s. A prison bitch named nails, bet his lovers have fun with that one.

    Islam is so tolerant

NOT. The 'religion of peace' proves once again to be the most primitive and oppressive major belief system on the planet. This isn't fringe stuff, this is the government of a large nation doing this: http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20110419/wl_time/08599206587300 Ass holes- it is...

I agree with that. Simulation and calculation only have a partial resemblence to reality, not good enough in my opinion.

Maximum sensible bet size for great setups

I checked excel, I don't see how to loop. I did see that the RAND function returns 0-1 values. Getting 1000 trades is pretty easy. Pick a box, say B2, and enter in the RAND function. Do a copy-paste from B2 into B3-B1002. You should see a column of random numbers. Then enter some account...
