Do not make the change (unless IB has changed its message). The IB message to people asking for support was that we currently support java 1.5.0 so get 1.5.0_11 but until IB declare support for 1.6 you'd be better running TWS on 1.5

You cant. IB sends a maximum of one packet every 250ms (moving to 200ms) so you can't get more frequent ticks. But who cares. The purpose of ticks is to spread the action out on your charts when the action is fast ... and one tick every 250ms will achieve that for you anyway. If you...
