Good rationale and entry, LF. IMHO, if you're going to use super-tight stops, then you have to be ready to re-enter super quick as well. The ATR for a mere 10 seconds now is like 2 points, 5 points for 1 minute... Edit: but I feel your pain, I'm a cheap mofo and get stopped out at BE often :D

More or less same here, Divemaster, but never really worked :D Thought about going the instructor route, but working conditions kept getting worse, glad I didn't since I'm not getting any younger. Commercial divers are a different breed, I don't think I would manage. Respect.
