What happens with long term systems when a trade lasts for 6 months or more and you have multiple slippage and commission how do you test for that? Also, when you optimize a system, how do you tell if a set of parameters is robust or not?

I had bought a new computer a few weeks ago and had no problems in moving TradersStudio software to the new computer. Tradersstudio was very helpful and I only had to follow a few steps to move the same. Thanks Mr. Murray for your ongoing support! :)

What you say is fine except that, often many times you will not have enough out of sample trades to see if the system is robust or not, which is why walk forward testing is the best method.
