I personally don't recommend that you rely on others. That will only mess with your head. Instead, start out small (1 MES contract) and slowly build your portfolio. If your strategy is profitable, as you say it is, this shouldn't be a problem.

How long is your track record? Which means it's not more than 4 years, but your foray into futures is only recent by your own admission. Unless you can absolutely prove that you're profitable, it would be a hard sell IMO. Other than going back to work, your next best course of action is...

The point he was making, as far as I can tell, is that everyone had their heyday for toooooooo long with Fed's 0% policy, so they have nothing to complaint about. Instead, they should grow some balls like real adults. The problem with this current generation of traders/investors is just that...

As somebody who lived through the Volcker-induced recession (or rather stagflation, to be precise) in the late 70s, I can tell you it was the worst of all recessions I've experienced in my lifetime. And I was only a kid. But I remember massive unemployment, factories shutting down all around us...

For S&P, that appears to be at around the 50% retracement level, give and take, which would put us at 2737. Of course, it's all speculation on my part so take it with a grain of salt.

If there's one thing I've learned throughout my entire career is that government will eventually step in and prop up the market at all costs and you never want to bet against the government. Anyway, I expect to see 3800 for tomorrow
