Excellent point. But S2007S never backs up anything that he says with statistical evidence. He just "cut and pastes" whatever he reads without doing his own "homework". Leave it to him to think that a probability of ~0.2% is "easy". Nothing new from this guy. Same old drum-beat.

You do realize that Energy makes up a decent percentage of the S&P, right? CVX and XOM in the Dow, etc.

The EURO is getting pretty "toppy" in here and looks to have headed into a small V to the downside today, now trading well below the 40 day MA.

I guess your reasons don't include a huge rally in the DOLLAR and what looks to be a Euro that is getting pretty "toppy".

My guess is it is an indicator that measures momentum, and in that way can identify what exactly is the 3rd Wave, given that Wave 3 is the most POWERFUL in an Elliott Wave sequence. The difficulty with Wave 3's is that they are often "complex" . . . meaning that they sub-divide further into 5...

You are correct. My bad. Typo. The FBR analyst lowered his EPS for 2008 down to $3.55 from $4.50 and his price target from $65 down to $55.

Aside from the ENTERTAINMENT value that you provide with your so-called "calls" on the market . . . No one really cares. Leave it to you to get short coming off of a 61.8% retracement in the SPX. Congratulations!
