    Sell All Rallies 8-12-2008

Please name me a successful trader that averages "down" after taking a 1/2 position and allows a trade to go 30% against them as the DUG trade did for you, when it was making new lows all the way down into the July 2nd low of 25.64?

    Sell All Rallies 8-12-2008

Here's a much better question, and one that you actually have some CONTROL over (rather than going on and on about the Economy, which may or may not have any strong correlation with the equity markets) . . . Why buy the QID at $43, $42, $41, or $40 when you can buy it for $38.50? Where are...

    Sell All Rallies 8-12-2008

And what does that have to do with the QID now in the 38 handle???

Time to retrace the past several days gains with NG getting clobbered to the tune of 5% and new lows for the move.

Crude continuing to break -3.30 and DOLLAR RALLYING HARD . . . FXE at 148.00 Why are we rallying like this? The American economy is horrible! Where is the catalyst??? Olympic Year?? USA! USA! USA! :D

S&P daily pivots and break-down & up Targets

How about challenging Monday's high at 1313 SPX Crude Oil ( and Nat-Gas ) is certainly helping the Bulls today. :)

    Sell All Rallies 8-12-2008

Actually, you are the FOOL my friend. You have no idea what you are doing. Clearly you have never looked at a chart of the QID . . . And you keep talking about a "slowdown" in the Economy, yet the NDX never made a new low when the SPX traded down to 1200.44 Like I said before . . . You...

    Ewj: elliott wave

Daily Stochastics are pretty darn overbought, while the Weekly Stochastics are just turning up from a solid oversold condition. Hourly's are just trying to turn-up as well . . . hence the case for another push up towards Monday's highs at 1313 SPX.

    Ewj: elliott wave

Or . . . we can go back to the Diagonal "C" count with today's low being the end of Wave 4 and looking for yet another push back up towards Monday's SPX high of 1313.15 You make the call. :D

    IQ feed vs. IB feed...

I'm not sure where the servers are for the data-feed from IB, but DTN's servers are in Omaha, with some in Des Moines as well. If you are trading out of the West Coast, this can help you avoid some of the typical internet "congestion" that occurs when trying to reach data-feed servers all the...

    Drilling Stocks

Pretty volatile day today, eh Papa? Looks like no one here on ET even cares about the Drillers . . . http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index.shtml Probably a GREAT sign! :)

    IQ feed vs. IB feed...

I'm currently using the IQ-Feed for NYMEX quotes. It costs only $75 per month, all included. Works pretty good so far. :)

    Military Industrial Complex

You might as well make the same claim for Healthcare and Big Pharma . . . Case in point: Former Senator, Billy Tauzin of Louisiana who crafted the Medicare Prescription Drug Bill - - - the biggest Federal entitlement in several decades. He became a lobbyist for the Pharma Research and...

    go Barrack Obama

What I find even MORE bizarre about proposing a Windfall Profits Tax is the fact that XOM only produces 3% of the world's oil. How can they be a PRICE MAKER when they only produce 3% of the world's oil? So we tax them for windfall profits? Doesn't make an ounce of sense.

POLL: Are Fibonacci numbers a worthless or expensive crutch when it comes to trading?

Really now? Several studies have "disproven fib/round numbers"??? Which one is it? Fibs or Round Numbers? Because fib numbers have absolutely NOTHING to do with round numbers . . . Feel free to provide the STUDIES that you claim disprove fibs. You talk the talk, but leave it to you...

    Military Industrial Complex

An incredibly biased article. Notice that they never express Defense Spending as a percentage of overall GDP. If they did, they would have to admit that it is currently less than the 45-year average! See chart below...
