just what I suspect, your bot is also capable of handle trend day as long it is not a fast moving market. You get about 20 days like that out of a year, now if you put in a routine for fast market then back test it and the routine fires about 20 signals a year then you are all set.

I am thinking more of if bar value > some ATR then increase bar count by some value, etc.. just to push the bot into faster react mode.

now if you can instruct your bot to treat a single big bar as several smaller bars in the same direction hm...

I though so, bot doesn't have problem of handle trend or chop day but if market moves fast and steep in 1 direction then it get caught. If any it seem the bot is too human.

it is kind of mind trick for me, if Bradley chart says today is turn day then my mind is locked into some sort of prediction and if market goes against me I tend to wait for my 'prediction' to come true. As with anticipating, if all conditions are not there, I am gone. btw, this post...
