    You can use either method to begin creation of a channel in the opposite direction of the current trend. Sometimes the Bar which creates the volatility expansion makes better sense to use. other times, the FTT bar makes better sense. - Spydertrader

    If on your chart, the 15:20 bar failed to reach the RTL, then yes, it makes perfect sense to view it as an FTT. On my chart (and chalk this up to variances among data providers), Price did hit the LTL. As such, it cannot be an FTT (again, on my chart). Still a signal for change, but not an FTT...
