Hardest and Most Valuable Things In Trading

Just to make sure we're on the same page, I wasn't saying that you did any of what I was pointing out as mistakes; on the contrary, I meant that you're very consistent on your approach, which is one of the hardest things to do. :)

Your speech betrays you. a) You clearly DO know what a false analogy is. b) Your neighbor cannot steal your wife. Women are not property. Your neighbor may kidnap your wife or your wife may cheat on you, though. c) Since I trust Ninja and my broker with trading info I trade through/with...

Hardest and Most Valuable Things In Trading

Nice that you bring this up (not nice that it happened to you, though  ) I think that one of the most valuable things in trading is learning to be consistent in your execution and that this is particularly hard when it comes to your profitable exits. I don't mean that you cannot change...

I just want to trade profitabily

Bales, while I'm sure that works just fine for you, for most new traders scalping for ticks is - usually - a losing proposition. Even if they achieved your 1-1-1 rate of success, at retail prices they'd be forking over 20% of profits in commissions.

I'm trading live with an old 7 beta version and after seeing all the problems of people upgrading to the latest beta+1 and then again a different group of people suddenly having problems when upgrading to the latest beta+2, I simply refuse to upgrade until they roll out the production version -...

Tell me about it. I'm gonna have to reconsider my rule about no opening new live trades in the last 45' (if I have open trades, that's ok) because those are the only ones that seem to be working for me (then again, it may be because in sim I don't hesitate, whereas in my live account I'm stuck...
