Did paper trade really help you to become profitable?

Yes. Paper trading will reveal what does NOT work. When a trader finds what appears to work on paper, he needs to try it out with real money, real time. Should trade small, as there are other "things" to be learned.

Video Card Surprise... NVS 310 Does UHD Resolution

That's what I use on most of my stuff, too (1920x1200). For charting, one can usually increase the font size as necessary for text and still have the greater data display of higher res.

Video Card Surprise... NVS 310 Does UHD Resolution

I'm doing a liesurly upgrade(?) from W7 to W10. Not all of my displays require UHD res (3840x2160), so I checked out how a UHD monitor would display 1920x1080 on an NVS 310 video card. Well, to my surprise it displayed 3840x2160* just fine as well as 1920x1080 on W7 OS. (Its spec states the...

"I Finally Agree With Cher" Trump Exposes Liberal Elites' Virtue-Signaling Hypocrisy

Rather than Trump merely threatening to send the migrants to sanctuary cities... I'd rather he just DO it. So that when they come piling in, overrunning, and fouling their surroundings, the Lefty Dems go WTF?? That would make the bleeding hearts yowl all the louder. :) The Dems are...

What are some good example of a move where TA has failed?

Your expectations from TA appear to be "overly optimistic". Just because an apparent setup breaks down, doens't mean "TA failed". (Both of your plays were technically correct, BTW.)

"I Finally Agree With Cher" Trump Exposes Liberal Elites' Virtue-Signaling Hypocrisy

"...By threatening to send migrants to sanctuary cities, President Trump has forced liberals to confront their hypocritical NIMBYism as they scramble to come up with excuses to justify why the migrants whom they've defended as victims of a 'White Nationalist' agenda are actually 'too dangerous'...

What are some good example of a move where TA has failed?

Proper "Price TA" NEVER FAILS... there are false breaks, of course... with which a trader needs to cope... "buffer" kinds of stop-out losses, is all.

    Waste management/recycling ETFs

Can't see any growth future for such ETFs other than like "basic utilities", if that's how one cares to invest.

Will Tiger Woods make the comeback?

They were showing his "comeback progress". It was better than I recollected. He isn't the "Tiger and everyone else" dominant player like in his prime, but he's worked his way into the "top dozen players of today", and that's darned good! Wouldn't be surprised to see him win quite a bit more...

I dont want to short TSLA

KISS stragegy for a trading range market is to buy the bottom the range, sell the top of the range. With TSLA at this time, those prices are ~$245 and ~$390, playing all else between as noise.

I dont want to short TSLA

Why don't YOU grow up, junior? You've apparently got a woodie for Musk and his electric cars in spite of all the stories about their poor quality and problems.

California goes tax wild, eyes levies on everything from water to tires

"... California City to Tax Residents for CONSERVING TOO MUCH WATER..." When it comes to California, tough to choose just what is it that "takes the cake"... but this could be a contender! https://www.infowars.com/california-city-taxing-residents-for-conserving-too-much-water/

Andrew Jackson, my favorite president, abolishes the Central Bank of the US

Jackson declined to renew the charter of what was effectively the "US Central Bank" of its time, thus "abolishing the Fed". That's not the only reason he's my fav... he was also a man of principle and class. Woodrow Wilson re-established the Fed (Central Bank) in a "seamy, late night, backroom...

10 years of up stock market and local government pension funds are way underfunded. taxpayers will

Of course. They "presumed" a higher rate of return than actually earned, so their contrubutions were too small to meet objectives. Nothing new here, just trying to get away with "cheap". Bottom Line... EVERYBODY'S GETTING F'D. Figure out how to minimize yours.

Bank Of America Raising Its Minimum Wage To $20 An Hour

Disappointing. But considering who makes those decisions and who benefits, not much of a surprise.

Bank Of America Raising Its Minimum Wage To $20 An Hour

Trump cut the corporate tax rate. Nothing wrong with that, should have. There was an expectation, however, that the reduced taxes would lead to hiring more jobs and higher wages for the workers. Apparently hasn't worked out that way... instead, the taxes saved have been directed into stock...
