If the opening tick is an uptick, yes. But if that particular stock were to open down, you'd become a mkt short I think. And you'd get filled on the uptick, probably after someone lifts to whole offer.

I guess it would depend on what kind of errors you make. If you are a good trader and meant to sell but bought instead, then I would assume you'd be a net loser on your trading errors. If your errors are random, I would expect you to net out even but down with commish.

Price + Volume + Context Once you find how these three interplay, you'll need nothing else. Disclaimer being, it will most likely take you a ~ couple years to figure out how to put these pieces together on a consistent basis (iow, you need to experience 1000's of hours of live data)...

On the flip side, maybe this site wouldn't get any sponsors if it wasn't as organized as it is? Maybe sponsors see that there is an order to things here and it's worth them signing up and paying fees as opposed to a wild wild west type setup like yahoo message boards.

Right, well I never said his story was absolutely true, only that he relayed that same story to me via PM months ago. He's at least telling the truth about the story happening. Whether it was in his mind or it actually happened is up in the air at this point.

Lil Acrary is cleary "Cold" but I will corroborate his claim about offering a mod money to reveal IP addresses. Months ago, he told me this story via a PM so I believe him this time. Was it Nkhoi? I think that was the mod he mentioned but I could be wrong.
