You can trade them all, no matter which server you are on. The only difference is the routing your order takes. I understand that if you are in the UK using the Swiss server your order goes to Switzerland, then to New York, then back to Switzerland, then to you in the UK.

My understanding is that you cannot change servers yourself - IB need to do it for you. I have one PC on New York, one on Switzerland, and one on Hong Kong, just in case.

I'm not sure about those statements that IB don't check details such as date of birth. Since 9-11 everything seems to have been tightened to supposedly prevent money laundering, and certainly anyone in Europe opening an account through the Swiss office has to provide a copy of their passport or...

IB - Please please please bring back text statements! It's a pain printing them from the website each day, but far preferable than having just HTML ones (which take 3 pages extra to print off - ie 660 extra pages per year).

Thanks ArchAngel for your suggestion. I have done that, which certainly corrects the past two days' data. However, today the same thing happened and the charts stopped at 16:00 although the Time & Sales continues until 16:15, so deleting the file corrects past data but is not an on-going...

For the last two days (Monday and today) my data feed on Qcharts for ES stops at 16:00 EST instead of 16:15. I updated to version 4.3.0 at the weekend, which may be the reason. Changing servers has no effect. Using All Sessions has no effect. Am I doing anything silly, or is anyone...

I suffer from the same problem with Paltalk on occasions, so I too am interested to know of a solution.

I had that problem - this is how I overcame it. Under Internet Explorer, tools, Internet options, advanced, then uncheck the box under Java (Sun). That did the trick for me.

I do have the size on my TWS screen, but for one use only - to know that I'm still receiving live prices. Sometimes the bid/ask moves so slowly (during lunch, for example) that it's handy to know that all's well.
