Best book on Lifting

If by a 1/4 of a mile you mean 400 meters... :D Breaking 50 seconds is some serious business, most people couldn't do it in their 20's even if they trained for it. What's your PB if I may ask? I wouldn't worry too much about seeming to be stuck in a plateau regarding loss weight: you...

    Trader P/L 2010

Right there you have summed up your hold-up: you're a Short-Only Babe. Still you shouldn't call yourself a babe, that's demeaning to women. :D Congrats on your soon to be outdated new record :) (Excellent post on the through the looking glass thread, btw).

Taking 410K to 4million by Year End 2010

Congrats, Neke, good to see you keep proving the naysayers wrong. Oh, 18K can buy a really nice vacation in Bahamas with the Miss and a new no-memory-effect battery for your trading engine - just saying :) Good trading.

    Six 22" monitor setup

No, 24" and similar monitors: 1920x1200 30" is 2560x1600 (about same pixel size) Still, of course 6 times 1920x1080 is a bigger desktop (about 50% bigger), you would need a third 30" monitor to match that size Sorry for any ambiguity

    Six 22" monitor setup

You can get two large 30" for about 2,000-2,500 and need no special monitor stand (but keep in mind you'll probably need two DVI's per monitor; i.e. two dual cards or one quad). I got three 24/25" hp02 2408h (with the "taller" 1920 x 1200 resolution) and am very happy with this setup (this...

    Matcha's Dow E-mini Journal

Matcha, First, nicely done, it's days like these that kill new traders (even if in hindsight it all seems so easy). When reviewing the trading day, it would probably help you to do it, either in a Market Replay simulator (real-time or accelerated) or like your big sister NoDoji: bar by bar...

Maybe, but isn't that roughly the same song we've been listening to since the S&P was trading in the 600's? Have we not gone up about 500 points on rising, not falling, unemployment? I don't particularly care whether we go up or down and I'm happy for all the people making money...

    CL Redux

:) Pulling a double (sim) Nodoji's: short 80.75 - exit .57 + short .55 - still open :D But yes, another run is unlikely - maybe very near the close. Edit: Oh, I said it before, but again, congrats K, you surely have some of Livermore's knack for knowing when to sit on your hands

    CL Redux

Let me THINK about it for a while :D Congrats on your new record. Looking at the chart in hindsight seems like an easy day to trade and make a killing but considering how the day went I'm sure many people puked their positions in the worst places. Considering how different yesterday and...

    CL Redux

Nice trade, K. It's funny how when euro was going through the rough and shorts were being hammered in the ES oil made it to 82 and stopped on its tracks and then yet again when it made it back to 81 bounced up (proportionally way more than equities). Distribution? Accumulation? Undecided...

TICK softening a bit but still no real breach of -400. Avg still positive. Let's see who chickens out first. Edit 10:25 -700 TICK and avg entering negative territory

(Almost) Everything rebounding plus TICK looking solid so far. Nasdaq already in the green and closer to HOD. (Sorry for the silly question, but how do I post two pictures in the same post?) Edit: Numbers on the left are change since last close, numbers on the right are change since...
