    CL Redux

:34 stop trailed to .67 and stopped out --> +53 ticks --> Rolling p&l +45 ticks (43 after comms). A bit too early probably, but thinking this should ease up during lunch. Agh! Stopped out to the tick just before that little extra push... well...

Nodoji rocks! :) But I think your call/trade was good, it's just that China theme today.

    CL Redux

sim Crap! I was getting the fajitas ready! That stop-limit got filled at .20 stop is 20 ticks at .40, not looking good at all, but gold keeps pounding its lows (and oils seems to be mirroring gold more than euro, which seems to have stabilized somewhat, so holding the position)...

I agree with you: the uptrend is intact, in fact, I'd say we have to break below 78 to change it, but <i>today</i> I think we end negative (not near the lows, though, but I still see room for another spike down). And btw, it wasn't a criticism of your trade at all, just a heads-up. :) Go...

sim Short .48 (late) stop to be and stopped out This was to get the .21 short started. stop-limit still in place

IMHO, look at the metals. [Edit: or the grains, or the softs - and I started the day with a long bias, so I wanted to buy the break of 86.60 on a pullback, not fade it; probably due some rebound at lunch, though] This smells like China, not Ireland.

sim stop-limit to get short at .21 will look to short as well at a retest of the previous HOD at .50-60-ish

    CL Redux

sim stop-limit to short at .52 not very confident, but gold also fast approaching its LOD :55 filled at .50, stop to be, target a test of 85 flat :57 stopped out at .25 on a tightly trailed (once) stop; had a hard target at 85.05 --> +25 ticks; rolling total -8 ticks (-10ish with...

sim long .72 SAR .52 Target a re-test of that .40-60 area flipped at .67 (bad fill, was trying to flip at .69-70) --> -5 ticks stop 20 ticks normal In-the-red add at .79 --> stopped out at .87 --> -28 ticks (total -33 ticks) Not reading this well today (as opposed to my...

Michigan's consumer confidence in 10 minutes. Edit: disclaimer: unless <i>they</i> fuck it up, of course :D China down 5%, dragging commodities on measures to fight the real estate bubble and on rumors of another interest rate hike. Ireland, Portugal... now <del>Abu Dhabi</del> Dubai as...

The problem with Ninja and CL (and GC if I recall correctly) was with version 6.5 and IB (it got the contract month wrong after IB made a change and Ninja and IB couldn't agree on who had to change what), the rest of brokers didn't have that problem. I'm trading with Ninja 7 and IB, no problem...

I'm basic and have a question about CL

drm7 has answered your question in your other thread. Margin in equities = loan. Margin in futures = deposit.
