Yes, we don't really "compete" with anyone. We develop trade plans to take advantage of rhythms in the markets. At times when these rhythms are not present, the savvy trader waits until they reappear...and they always do.

To the clueless, the markets appear random.

Tone is tone no matter what your chops are. The problem with the US mass producers like Martin and Gibson is the Asian's are closing the gap on quality of tone and construction and of course do it a lot cheaper.

It's viable for any who are willing and able to put in the extensive time, effort and personal development required of any demanding profession. Most enter the arena lacking either this understanding or diligent commitment.

Yep, amazing stuff being done electronically but my heart still bleeds for the Adirondack spruce top with solid rosewood or mahogany sides and back dreadnought acoustic. That's a nice looking ax you have there tho. I've had many Martin's, Gibson's and several Taylor's but the sweetest I've owned...

Tough to hear of this. Brazilian rosewood has been off the table for years and now Asian. Rosewood gives an acoustic guitar a slightly brighter tone to my ear than mahogany but both are excellent tone woods. There are other tone woods but to me, rosewood and mahogany are the best.

I tend to get more trade-able long signals in a bullish environment and vice versa but as a day trader, I get plenty of both. Win to lose percentage is statistically even regardless of direction. I have a mild bias toward shorts as I find them quicker moving, fear stronger than greed possibly...

Yes, form work is good stuff in any discipline.

I'm not qualified as I have not tested nor traded fib's. Re your argument, trend lines smack of predetermination, pullbacks, patterns etc. The only arbiter is whether a thing works.

Carolyn was taught by Bob Miner to trade fib time and price clusters. I took a look at the stuff years ago but never went there and don't consider myself qualified to judge.
