How important is the win percentage?

A load of bilge. Not interesting at all.

Does anyone else get the shits when they trade?

Wouldn't you have to be sober to do that??

Does anyone else get the shits when they trade?

Depends, man.. DEPENDS! The new ones don't even show panty lines. :)

Right now is the time for action.

From what I recall, Cuban made a bundle in the ".com" boom and cashed out before it all came a cropper. Good for him. He's right, of course... and "having an idea and working it to success" so long as achieving success along those lines is "worth it". (There are lots of "successful endeavors"...

The Path to Recovery: How to Re-Open America

That's the problem. We don't KNOW all that much yet. Sure, we have speculation and hopes/desires... but those can be shot down as we move along.

How important is the win percentage?

More important is risk:reward ratio and that you trade with stops to eliminate possible large losses. The win percentage will take care of itself.

    Hammer and Inverted hammer

Where there are 2 or 3 consecutive "star" days after a decline (hammer being one of the star candles), it signals "indecision about continuation of the down move and likely upside reversal." Vice versa for star days after an upswing.

Historical jobs report tomorrow: 21 million payroll cuts/16% unemployment. Wallstreet rally!

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Fed announce yet another stimulus package tomorrow. Stimulus every week.... soon you're talking real money.

We have 33 million unemployed and 15 million new days traders in last 2 months

Double Whammy... First they lose their job, second they lose their ass. (The wold is a cruel place.)

How to fade very large gaps up in US equities

Variables? How my rabbit's foot feels when I rub it... or how the chicken bones lay when I toss them.

How to fade very large gaps up in US equities

"Fading the gap" is one of the plays. Is it right this time? You'll find out later, but "waiting to see what happens" won't let you make much money.

How to fade very large gaps up in US equities

Nope. It's a guess. As for "tape reading"... not valid these days. Waaaayyy back when the most current info players had about a stock was on the ticker tape*. Nowdays we have up-to-the-moment info via real-time charts... or as quickly as price changes can be posted to the electronic ticker...

How to fade very large gaps up in US equities

There are basically 4 "technical gap concept" plays. 1. Gap-n-Go... gap is the opening high/low and races ahead in that direction. 2. Gap-n-Crap... gap opens on hi/low for the day (swing), reverses almost immediately and continues the reversal move 3. Gap-fill-Resume.... the gap is...

Record $14,000,000,000,000 consumer debt will only mean new highs for wallstreet

I think the "savings rate" is measured over a VERY short term... and is likely a pittance compared to debt balances... reported to make things look better than they are. (Gee... what government would do that?) Bottom Line... "savings rate" doesn't mean SQUAT until the debt balances are paid...

Record $14,000,000,000,000 consumer debt will only mean new highs for wallstreet

Having your money "in tune" with the charts is the best way to potentially profit through all of this while maintaining risk control. But if the government prints enough... you could have a BILLION $USD which won't be worth a shekel. "Unthinkable"... "impossible for the US"? Not only has it...

Historical job report with unimaginable job losses will mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to wallstreet!!!

It's a sick world we live in today. More unemployed = expectation for more (print money) stimulus. YEA STIMULUS!! :(

New Trading System - Input Please.

You're talking, "I want the fastest, but I want it cheap". Just like in cars, "no such thing". The E5-1620 v3 has a normal clock speed of 3.5Ghz, which is plenty fast for a trading rig. (You could get a rig with a Xeon W-2125.. which is also quad-core, dual thread... with 4.0Ghz clock...

New Trading System - Input Please.

I doubt any single core CPUs are available anywhere. Intel Xeon E5-1620 v3 is an inexpensive quad core, dual thread CPU... that or equivalent (or better) is what you should get. Both the T5810 and Z440 have it as options.
