I think the key point is we the FX traders would need a web site (probably operated by any authorised agents of international Governments) that is able provide prices information by comparing the Interbank markets against any other FX platforms like Oanda. There should be no reason this web...

Seems to me it was at one stage a client of Oanda couldn't even send the money to a different bank account of the same person's name without physically sending/ showing proof of ID paperwork.

Probably no any other brokers in financial industry would be allowed to do that based on 100% online application and confirmation (Legally?), I am afraid.
