$335,000 for entry-level hedge fund analyst

You think these guys have undergrad degrees? LOL.

$335,000 for entry-level hedge fund analyst

Most these guys would be better off working at Taco Bell then trying to make 2 handles on the ES everyday. Shit, what makes you think any of these guys could ever even land an interview at one of these places. Hell, Don Bright probably wouldn't even return the phone call. LOL. I just love it...

$335,000 for entry-level hedge fund analyst

I'll cut my right nut off if one guy on this thread can produce sheets showing he is making 2 handles a day net for a period of one year trading ES. Shit I'll cut one off if one guy on this thread is even profitable. Shit, I'll cut both nuts off if anyone on this thread even trades for a...

    Another Obamacare horror story debunked

And who the fuck you think is paying the difference? The magical health care fairy? I can't believe your parents were allowed to breed.

    The ACD Method

For you home gamers out there, pay attention to the correlation breakdown in USD/JPY and risk assets.

    The ACD Method

The QTR A down is around 3.33 give or take and the monthly A down will be somewhere around 3.41 or so. That 3.33 should get hit.

ZN failed at the QTR A up as well. Not a bad trade at that level but if risk assets sell off, I'm not sure how much follow through there will be on Bonds and Notes.

    The ACD Method

I'm not talking about stat vol and I'm not referring to just the Euro. OK, let me give an example. When the lights are off in your house, you have all sorts of critters walking around independently of each other. There is almost no correlation to what one bug, cockroach, etc are doing to each...

    The ACD Method

To make this even simpler, let's remove the directional aspect of this. With regards to FX, when FX "volatility" increases, regardless of direction, something is going on there. It takes a lot of money to move currencies. These aren't small cap stocks with small floats that are heavily...

    The ACD Method

My number line has re-set on the Euro and has lost all it's strength. But the real sell signal was the failed QTR A up. As I've said many times before, just something I have noticed time and time again, long term trends "tend" to end at QTR levels.

    The ACD Method

I'm shocked that no one on here is mentioning some of the massive moves in FX today. Please refer back to your notes about what I've said about big moves in currencies....:)

    The ACD Method

That's good analysis. So the optimal setups will be: Selling into failed weekly A ups and possible a failed monthly A up in Nov. Being that the market is really overbought at these levels, fading crude seems like a good high probability bet.

Looking for new markets beyond equities to spread risk. Futures? Options? Forex?

Disregard all that. All a bunch of bs. Don't use the leverage and trade longer term, spreads don't matter. There is no more funny business here then in any other market.

Looking for new markets beyond equities to spread risk. Futures? Options? Forex?

You should be trading FX. Especially the cross rates. For one, it will get you out of this "bull market" mindset as there is no such thing in FX land. And two, trading FX will give you a better handle on the macro picture and what's going on in the economy.

Because ET as a message board is really all about process. Most people are aliases here so whether an account or trade is real or not is a useless exercise. All we can debate here is semantics. So whether he has 100 million on the line or if it's a paper trade, the semantics play out exactly...

    Kudos to MMs

I'm not questioning his add, I'm question his risk management. When he uses the word discipline about a trade that he has been short for 3 years and no stops. Now I know these trades aren't real, it's all semantics. If one is going to take the time to post, they might as well still carry out...

    The ACD Method

OK, I will walk you through the logic "I" use to create trade ideas. Let's say I was "looking" for a short or wanted to "express" that point of view. Knowing that the ES has a confirmed number line I would avoid it and instead draw my attention to bonds which are confirmed on the number line...

Nitro, why do you have disciplined targets and not disciplined stops? Isn't that a contradiction of the word. It's like saying I'm disciplined about my diet eating pizza and chocolate. You've been short now since 1000 on the SPX with no covers that I'm aware of. The point of trading...

    The ACD Method

Right, once it hits 0 (I actually use 0 or 1) then it re-sets and can generate a new signal going forward if it confirms. Otherwise it "indicates" chop going forward. Mathematically this makes perfect sense. If we simplify it to only A ups and A downs (+2 and -2) and over the last 30 days...
