if you watch price it self, then averages of price become superfluous. averages are required when you want a bird's eye view of price. in any case I presume there may be many uses for them but I just did not find any use for it myself. there are many things I should watch but my mind cannot keep...

not scalpers and now these points are more often than not used for trapping traders. earlier in the good old days, when intraday charts did not exist,they were watched but even then there were a lot of whipsaws.

but it keeps doing it whole day....do not trade until you see what it is doing. I make that mistake all the time....I like to trade and that is not a good thing

I do not like too many things on the chart...in fact I just like to see how fast the bars are forming...but if I concentrate on 1-2 bars then sometimes I react to very short term movements or noise...so I wonder.....and get confuse and exit...that is why I am more comfortable scalping
