SEC chair on CNBC at 2:00 est.

Exactly. The law is already on the books from April of 2005. Too bad that the SEC is so freaking lazy and refuses to enforce rules that are already on the books. Chairman Cox is just like any other Bush appointee incompetent . . . totally out of touch with REALITY! Cramer is bashing Cox...

    CNBC and Economic Damage Control

Can you please provide specific data to back up your claims above regarding the 1,000 banks in the U.S. that are ready to go under at any time? And your here bashing CNBC for misinformation?

    Quotetracker limitations?

As previous people have indicated, if you have a TDAmeritrade account open with a minimum of $2,000 you receive 20 days of intra-day data. P.S. While Hourly charts arguably give more detail than Daily . . . Why would anyone want to have 30 days of hourly charts available for display? How...

Have yet to see capitulation except in banks

Energy has been getting torn-apart for awhile now . . . Where have you been? Looked at BP and XOM lately? Nearly a 20% decline. Looked at COP lately? A 36% decline. Looked at MRO lately? A 23% decline. NOTE: It's called "rotation".

Looks like the world is coming to end.

And a BEAR MARKET RALLY can be extremely powerful . . . that is why it pays to be "nimble" and not strongly biased in any one particular direction.

Looks like the world is coming to end.

And that is your biggest problem. Thinking that the market OWES you something. Good Luck with that! :D

Ron Paul Humiliates Ben Bernanke so bad that CNBC had to cut him off.

It's ALL Bernanke's fault right? I mean, he's the one that has been running HUGE Federal Budget Deficits which has lead to a 50% decline in the dollar over the last 7 years, he's the one that failed to enact a comprehensive Energy Policy for the country, he's the one that allowed regulators...

    Timely trading alert from rowshan

VIX and TED to explode !

SPX puts are not always a very effective way for PM's to hedge, and as a result are turning more and more to individual stock puts and this is one of the reason's why we have yet to see the VIX over 30, in my opinion. Also of note, the VIX is relatively "low" because it is staying in-line...

Where can I get streaming charts for a decent price?

Then you will obviously be very LIMITED to what is available in the real-time, real world of stock quote/charting applications.

This is what a 'bank run' looks like...

Leave it to Bush #1 and Congress to have changed the FDIC's ability to intervene BEFORE a bank gets into "trouble" as they did countless times back in 1990 during the S&L crisis under Bill Seidman. They absurdly passed a law in 1991 that no longer allowed the FDIC to get involved ( and match...
