Stock Market Looks Set To Really Crash Hard

You're late to the Party. The continuation pattern was talked about extensively a full week ago by several ET members, including Port1385.

Greenspan "shocked" at credit system breakdown

No, but the guy just can't seem to admit that he was WRONG. He said that "no one saw this "bubble" coming." Yeah, right. He was the kind of guy that thought that "bubbles" were cute! :D

Greenspan "shocked" at credit system breakdown

The proposal of a "transaction tax" came from Oregon House of Representative, Pete DeFazio, which another 12 Dems signed onto and sent to Pelosi. The logic behind it was to pay for the $700 Billion "bail-out". http://www.defazio.house.gov/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=438 (scroll...

It's amazing how well "bid" this market was earlier this morning . . . and then all of a sudden at 12 Noon on the "dot" the bid drops out and it looks as if sell programs took over with someone liquidating part of a portfolio. Amazing how the "personality" can change so very fast these days.

Greenspan "shocked" at credit system breakdown

Now, low and behold Greenspan wants to throw out "Free Markets for Free Men". Unreal. Fannie and Freddie were never PURE capitalist entities to begin with. How about "Fair Markets for Free Men"? Duh.

Greenspan "shocked" at credit system breakdown

He doesn't get it. He felt that self-regulation would work and that institutions protect their equity. They don't. People protect their equity! He ALSO got sucked into complacency and confused low wage and price inflation with NO EXCESSES! Big mistake.

    Dell Precision T3400 or T5400?

I'm sure that Gnome would suggest going with 256mb. No need for anything more than that. Monitors just don't need all that memory - - - unless you are playing hardcore video games.

    Dell Precision T3400 or T5400?

Because given your earlier comments on this thread ( see below ) you seemed hell bent on wasting money and listening to a Dell sales rep even though you have absolutely no idea what you are paying for in a Xeon Dual-Quad processor...

    Sentiment Is Too Bullish

Too many college kids using ET as their internet "playground" and using monopoly money. Difficult to give "high-fives" in that kind of environment. After all, this is ET. :D

    Dell Precision T3400 or T5400?

I bought a new Dell T3400 earlier this year on Sale for $900. Came with Windows XP Pro, NVS-290's, and 4 Gigs of PC2-6400 ECC RAM on an Intel Duo-Core E8200 Processor @ 2.66GHz and L2 Cache of 6MB with a 1333 MHz Front Side Bus. Handles all of my trading needs with no problem at all...

Jim Rogers tells CNBC to F* OFF

Excellent point. But he will never say that because he will be "pinned" into a corner and everyone will remember him as the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" when the economy was able to avoid the Great Depression #2. He's more concerned with "looking like" he is RIGHT, than being honest. It's all...

Jim Rogers tells CNBC to F* OFF

His name is attached to a commodity fund as a General Partner in NAME only. In fact, the fund "Beeland" actually sued Rogers at one point last year I believe. Walter Price is the CEO of Beeland Management Company, the operator of the Rogers International Raw Material fund and the Rogers Raw...

Jim Rogers tells CNBC to F* OFF

Rogers is not who he presents himself to be on CNBC . . . Ever notice how he has NEVER had a losing trade? That's because he does not TRADE. Period.
