I targeted properly this time (unlike my long trade), and tried to move my target as price came in hard and it was lifted before I could move it. So I only got 47 ticks out of that move, didn't re-enter (too low to short disease) :eek:

Buy every dip, short every rally, makes no difference intraday. What makes the difference is how you manage the trades. BTW, do you post your trades? Or just say "buy every dip"? :D

+$159 Having a short bias wasn't a problem today because I only took with-trend short signals. Ironically the two counter-trend short signals I "almost" traded but talked myself out of were two of the biggest moves of the day. :mad:

My stops are between 4 and 15 ticks, 20 is max. I've only traded ES and CL, no other futures.

And in my case, my short bias kept me from taking a perfectly valid long signal at the market open which would've made me in 30 minutes 70% as much money as all my short trades combined, not that I'm complaining...OK, yeah, I'm complaining :p
