Why often trading currency and interest-rate markets concurrently by the same people?

Why often trading currency and interest-rate markets concurrently by the same group of people has been so common in many places? Is it because these markets behave quite similarly? Are there any underlying structural reasons (such as economical/ physical/ quantitative/ etc) for that?

It seems JH has got several systems in his book(s). But did he or his associates mention which is his main one with the best performance? Then we know the others are his spare systems that we don't have to pay much attention reading/learning (at all)?

Why do you guys trade options?

you only use options when you understand no other better options than options to use. otherwise options are not your options until one day you run out of other options. the only option left then would be you really need some options to use. lol

Finding strong trend with a stock screener?

Or simply: Q You have great ideas even if they are a random pick off the bookshelf :P An easy and effective trading system approach is to do a strength comparison scan of stocks versus the index. To compare stocks to an index you load the index symbol and apply the same indicator to...

What do you do with your spare system?

One think has been in my mind for some time. How much of a market's movement can be captured by a trader would be mainly determined by the perception/mindset (such as trend-following) of the trader, besides his skills (such as computational capability) and knowledge of tools (such as options)...

What do you do with your spare system?

A possibility is one day when the current main system will not perform well as expected, we may still use the spare system(s) immediately providing we now keep the spare system active and updated constantly.

What do you do with your spare system?

Covestor or something like that seems interesting. imo, it depends on the maturity of your spare systems. Trading with Prop-Shops may allow any further necessary (yet unknown) fine-tuning of a spare but to-be-mature system becoming really profitable fairly consistently in the long run...

What do you do with your spare system?

Thanks for the constructive pointers! They are very thoughtful ones indeed. I don't think any headhunters would chennel ET hiring for their PropShop clients. However, I wouldn't mind posting on ET forums some live calls that are generated from the spare system.
