    hmm.no edges in the markets

Personally I don't have any edge, but I am thinking anyone who possesses the ability (and time - reading over 600 replies in this thread alone by now) to fully understand/ comprehend this kind of ET discussion (ongoing for so many years) about Edges could have a Real edge!

When will the China bubble pop?

An economy of that size, even 0% or 1% annual growth year after year is still a huge production value. I think perhaps the key point is whether it can be actually decoupled against other major economies when they encountering crisis.

When will the China bubble pop?

After reading this Economics thread discussed on ET, "The powerful State Council, China's cabinet, is headed by Premier Li Keqiang. 10% GDP - and it will only cost tens of millions of lives

Unsure true or not. Probably some major cities in the world historically also had very similar environmentally unfriendly problems (perhaps not as bad) during their industrialisation development process.

When will the China bubble pop?

My guess is it's not impossible that China alone would lead the world's economic stability, if managed well, for the next 20 years, mainly because of the growth of its huge domestic consumption. Just 2 cents.

China possible downturn signal - Sky City One?

Read: Normally for every time of economic downturn, naturally we can find a new landmark construction being built somewhere in the world, because during economic downturn (almost impossible to find financial backing) nobody is interested (financially capable) in building new landmark construction!

When will the China bubble pop?

I think you have very good observation and understanding. My guess is it would be possible that there could be a mini boom (perhaps up 20+%) first for China's property market in these two years before the foreseeable bubble really bursts (say down 35+%). An article says it would probably start...
