Why Turtle system uses 20 and 55 days?
This may or may not be the case. When you are looking to optimize a parameter, you have to do it intelligently. It may be that 56 was the most profitable parameter but 55 was more robust.- Visaria

Lol, they had to use something!!! Nothing wrong with optimization at all, if done intelligently. What number should they have used, one that made half the amount that 55 days did?????!!!- Visaria

Was a good spot to take a short trade on today's ES
If you only have 5 grand to your name, trade currencies, risk about 100 dollars per trade. Do not day trade, look for longer term trades, at least overnight, where you can risk $100 to make $200 or $300. And stay away from the ES, you cant afford to trade it!!!
