If you are finding this market/time frame tough to trade, the answer is simple: stop trading it! Plenty of other markets and time frames, y'know. Nikkei moves 3%-4% in a day.

Annoyingly, June ES did not fall to 1620, a few points shy. Didn't go long and missed the rally.

If the market "knew" the numbers were going to be +2m, why was market expectations -0.4m?

Expect record highs on ES by the end of the month. Want to go long, missed the rally today. Hoping for a pullback tomorrow (or Monday) to 1620ish. Doubt if it will go back that far though...would set up a nice 3:1 trade if it did (expect 1700 basis June).

Took 6% out of the Nikkei . Had a decent sized position as well :D Equivalent to about 100 ES big points in less than 24 hours.

V nice double bottom (have a look at daily charts). I didn't go long, I was too stunned by my huge nikkei win :D I would expect record new highs on es by the end of the month.

So for instance, say the 37th trade had an initial risk of £1000, but the actual loss of £520, would that mean R37 = -0.52?

Not convinced that anyone has the EIA in advance. Doesn't make sense either since the EIA was so bearish, yet prices were going up before the report came out.

Out of Nikkei, almost stunned at the number of points i took, equates to about 6% :D . That's like doing a trade on the ES and taking 100 big points in less than 2 days!

Currently short Sept Nikkei, 400 points in profit, looking for a retest of the lows. Short CL too, currently $96ish, looking for $92.

Data is very bearish, but market taking it on the chin :mad:
