    CNN political analysis! :D I see it highly unlikely that the US will take ANY military action now. It's obvious that Obama had cold feet after learning that the UK, the USA's most closest ally, is not going to join in any coalition. So Obama had to find a face saving way of exiting too...

    Hope u r feeling better :D When you buy call options to hedge against your short position, does that mean you have no stop loss on the short position? Also, how detrimental is the effect of the cost of the option?

    AFAIK, Soros no longer trades. His family office does all the trading. Apparently it's pretty conservatively managed, no bold bets.

    Went long at $110.00, a small amount (on my long term account). We have a technical breakout on the daily chart, we have fundamental support from the Syria situation. If that really hotted up, $120+ would be on the cards.

    Annoying thing is that the trade was a toss up between going short or long. I knew it would be a big move either way. Chose the wrong bet :(
