Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

That I was saying indirectly that because of Powell and FOMC meeting next week the markets will tank again and thus the USD gets stronger. Otherwise with no expected move here it would not make sense to trade this seasonality. So I would have a strong bias on next week Powell's FOMC outcome...

Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

So no one is trading it, I am resuming correctly ? Then it might work next week, will see. But I am still not sure if I should make a trade with it or not. There is still time on this weekend. Let me know other opinions. Really no one made positive experience with seasonality at all or want to...

Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

It is just an illustration, an example. Anyone can think of variants and can do his own number crunching. There is no secret here. Just do or try it on your own. But I am interested how others like the idea of a seasonal trade next week ? That is why I started this thread to make discussion...

Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

No, only one trade for every major FX (except Kiwi is not considered) in every year, when there was a trading day when this seasonal signal triggered. In case it was a weekend then no trade was entered. That's it. It is really not that complicated. Maybe if you check for yourself and backtest...

Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

I used a simple logic: If dayofmonth(date)=Is_a_valid_trading_day then enter next day on open. So if it was no trading day then no position was entered.

Anyone trading next week seasonality ?

Next week is worst week in the year for the stock market, so shorting SP500 and USD longs would be good. Anyone trading this seasonality ? I just numbercrunched it and it produced every year a profit for the last 12 years. I am just thinking about if I trade this. It looks good, every year a...

    Mark Minervini...Legit or Not?

Ross C. trading style is cretainly not scalable and with his followers it is easier for him to make (more) money on the edu biz. Mark Minervini and Andrea Unger are both talented but also bit lucky. They have problems to be consistent profitable over a longer term period, say more than just a...

Tom H. is not trading the SP500 contract, only the much thinner liquid DAX, FTSE and DOW. It is easy with 20000+ subscribers to move those markets a few points, when he makes a call. He trades with 200 pound per point as value, that is already more than 8 full futures contract for the DAX. With...

See me forced to comment your post, because I cannot leave it standalone. Only the last one is really legit. Tom H. is very probably frontrunning. Have you seen his average trade net profit on DAX or on other indices ? It is only about 2 points. With so many (tens of thousand) subscribers on his...

Do not like the talking of daily goal of 1000%. He meant probably by risking 1% he is looking for a good trade setup or two to make with RRR of 10:1 or two times 5:1 probably 10% as daily goal. That would sound more proficient. Or did he say he only want to mentor beginner traders ?

Then can you tell me more if you know him already ? Because I had not read anything from him in the last years and I do not know how much my time it is worth to do all the (google) search here. And then it can have changed over time, especially recently too. I am not so interested in trading...

I would like to know also how many years trading experience you have ? In total and then especially in Forex ? And how many years from them you make consistent returns every month or every quarter ? What was your longest winning time period streak, e.g. 10 months in a row every month a profit...

How many totally different high sharpe (4 and higher) strategies are there in Forex ? Do you find value in some AI machine learning (Random Forest etc.) ? If yes, what kind of datasets are required to let the AI find some very good robust strategies ? (OHLC, sentiment, news, etc. ?). When I...

Are Decision Points Pending News Events?

That would assume smart money or institutional already know the new news, which is on CPI certainly not the case or not possible. So the conclusion is you cannot see it on chart because of the outcome of future news. It may depend on other things on the chart, so it was luckily the same here. I...

Measuring pulse or heart rate while trading ?

Sorry, do not have it on my fingertips, because it is not that trading relevant for me. So far I had not discovered a relationship between coffee and trading success. So you need to do your own google search, sorry for that.

Measuring pulse or heart rate while trading ?

If you are a sugar addict, then you really must journalling your eating behavior in relation to your trading success every time you eat some sugar. Because then you have an energy peak for a short period of time (that is good) but a much longer downside time period (not good because you get...

Measuring pulse or heart rate while trading ?

The cool thing is I am a totally systematic trader, so I do not suffer much at all from that kind of stress. But I was interested in that topic overall, because it can have some interesting aspects when finetuning the strategy.

Measuring pulse or heart rate while trading ?

Thanks, but I do not want to replace my daily dose of coffee, because I read recent scientific study in a high impact journal that 2 or 3 cups coffee every day is good for the heart and longevity. So it is good to drink coffee every day. But do ask me about all the details in the study now.
