    IB connection problems AGAIN

They just rolled back from 763 to 762.1 about 15 minutes ago. Seems they did that a couple of weeks ago as well

    IB connection problems AGAIN

Version 763, but I've had similar problems in 760 and 762. It's a connection issue, not TWS itself.

    IB connection problems AGAIN

Now they're saying they can't route to the NYSE. Had that yesterday as well.

    IB connection problems AGAIN

What also is annoying is each time you're logged back in the bulletin alert flashes and you'll notice that the previous alert gets attached to the bulletin log so it becomes a long repeated log of the same alerts. They introduce a new version of TWS every week or so and it seems like they...

    IB connection problems AGAIN

Low commissions, but I'm beginning to think it may not be worth the aggravation. Up until a month or so agi it was a stable service. Lately things are going downhill faster than the QQQs

    IB connection problems AGAIN

What makes it even more frustrating is that each time you get logged off and back on it clears all my buy & sell transaction lines.

    IB connection problems AGAIN

I just got the bulletins as well. I'm running the browser TWS and having all sorts of problems. I called tech support and they same some people are experiencing it so that explains the other posts to this forum.

    IB connection problems AGAIN

Been logged off and on all morning. This has been an issue for several weeks. What is today's excuse?? Every time it reconnects it clears the buy and sell transaction lines as well. If anyone at IB monitors this board PLEASE already - get your collectives asses in gear.

    IB's Front End Software

All this and a penny (or less) a share without having to trade 200 times a day. Love it!

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

I agree, those 2 ARCA ads are horrendous, with the bottle feeding and the grown guy jumping into his parents bed. Is this the best these ad agencies can come up with?? I also noticed the Nasdaqqq Times Square ads have curiously left the airwaves, while NDX has been shedding some serious...

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

remember the E-trade commercial where the CEO is giving a presentaiton and he starts talking through the parrot sitting on his shoulder. The camera shoots to a woman who keys in a sell order Wasn't that for XOXO ?? Smart lady, to sell. What I'd like to know is when Nasdaq reconfigured the...

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

In the TDW ad where he's walking away from his car, notice the reflection in his windshiled of the TD Waterhouse sign. It appears correct, suggesting that the actual sign is reversed. I know they wanted us to see a "correct" sign in the reflection but to anyone who notices this stuff it's pretty...

    Daytraders / CNBC report

Not only that, we also have time to critique the CNBC commercials in another thread in the Trading forum! If it wasn't for Elite Trader I think more of use would be as wired as that Dynergy "Please pass the potatoes, I think they're in Chicago" lady.

    Daytraders / CNBC report

Man, I wouldn't mind going UP to a 1/2 mil a year. Or even 1/20th it seems like LOL I think the daytraders account for around 10-12% of NYSE/Naz volume. I caught a snippet of the report too, but because I keep the sound down on CNBC during market hours and by the time I saw the report and hit...

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

That DYN commercial "Please pass the potatoes. I think they're in Chicago." Cute answer to an obnoxious performance by a hyperactive Jim Cramerette. I guess she's so wired because maybe she had the good sense to short DYN ??? :D

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

Marcy has left the building. For good For real? I noticed she wasn't there giving unemployment figures this morning. What *will* we do now without her guidance and suggestions?? Maybe she went over to CNN/fn which is even more deserving of her talents

    Best and Worst CNBC Commercials

and what the hell qualifications makes her a Chief Economist?? That she can read a friggin' computer screen at 8:30 Thursdays to give us the unemployment figures. Remember her stupid-assed "Three chicken days" ? This is their chief economist speaking. Holy smokes, what a sad specimen she is...

    What happened to Cramer's portfolio?

The one he wants his listeners to believe or the one he really trades, which is probably a mirror image to the short side. I don't trust a word that comes off his forked tongue. Oh yeah, TYC wasn't good at 33 but it's even better at 23. And the MLNM, CNXT and NOK crap. First you have to lose...
