How often are you guys changing your A and C values? Daily, weekly, monthly?

Ok thanks that was helpful I'll be delving more into the book and this thread more (I'm 1/3 through it). I'm still having some difficulties understanding how to calculate A and C values. I'm not looking for specific levels as I understand that it depends on each traders style and personality...

Just started reading the book so I may be a little confused. A and C values are calculated using the ATR of only the opening range and not the daily range? What I was referring to in my second question is if you can use the stock market open of 930 as the standard open for all futures...

Can someone shed some light on this for me, I signed up for the free trial at MB and looking over their A and C values for CL I see they have a 8 tick value for A and 13 for C they also use a 45 minute OR. How is that possible my daily ATR for CL is at $2.30 if we take 20% of that we get 46...
