    Who is your "guru"?

So is there someone you look up to? Even if it's just a guy you see in the media and are impressed with or the author of the book that thought you how to trade (doesn't need to be a pure guru like Warren buffet to value investors)

So at last we can trade C

As a former bank's telephone rep. I can assure you not a few people are looking at the bid/ask this morning and are just sure they hit the jackpot.

    Need an advanced options book

BTW Looking for an experienced trader's personal insight on options and not plain information book. I have plenty of those. Have a great week everyone. May the Thetas eat up premiums if you are a seller and be forgiving if you are a buyer.

    Need an advanced options book

I have read the bible of options strategies a couple of years ago and as erol said it's not the type of book I would find useful at this time. I would like mention it's a cool book but its very reserved and lacks (for me) the writer's/trader's personal touch + Guy Cohen doesn't mention important...

    Need an advanced options book

Hi, maybe I could improve executions, analysis and opportunity search but I am pleased with what do today. I am looking for something that can give a prospective that perhaps I never thought of, maybe some pro's secrets (not just strategies). If it's in a form of an interesting option trader...

    REGN may 75 call @ 20 cents

More then 20$ away from 75. I don't think it's a bargain at all even though stock price is all over the place.

    Consider an ICO strangle

OK obviously the circumstances are irregular with ICO. as I said if there was no "catch" it would be free money. Wouldn't you buy BAC September Strangle if it was traded for .20?? I know I certenly would. And again, I very rarely use debit spreads but I took a chance on this one. Could...

    Consider an ICO strangle

It could be tricky because the company was purchased. But it went up more then 3 bucks only today so I thought what the hell is 0.20 for a strangle. But, then again there's got to be a catch otherwise it's free money..

    Consider an ICO strangle

I don't usually post my trades and very rarely use debit spreads but ICO September 14/15 strangle @ 0.20 just looks too cheap. Good luck

    Need an advanced options book

To pass my time in the weekends when there׳s no trading going on.. Read samples on kindle of some popular and high rated books but they give too much attention to the basic stuff. Can you recommend me a book that could really upgrade even the very experienced trader? Any thoughts on...

    Scanning IV's on TOS Desktop

I like to use IB's Options Analysis on this website especially I find the volatilities tab very useful. Would be cool if I could add a criteria like stock avg. volume. Can I create something similar on TOS Desktop? Tried "Scan>Stock Hacker" but I couldn't create a search based on IV. Or...

    alternatives to IB

They do, but again we are talking about 20€ to trade Europe and even for US markets there are not cheap

    alternatives to IB

In terms of world markets I took the barrons annual broker review and checked one by one and found none with such offer. I am not with IB because 10K is too high at the moment but if you are looking to trade world markets it has no alternatives and even if there's some broker out there that...

Opinions on Red Options advisory service?

Got their permormance sheet today by mail; sat back and was getting ready to see how I was going to versify my option trading. They sent me records on all strategies offered, I started reading and was pleased with what they did with collars YTD. I kept on reading and apparently all the...

Opinions on Red Options advisory service?

Thank you both Indeed I asked them for past performance record on iron condor and double Diagnol, let's see if they improved in the meantime. But I guess it's to cheap to be good in the first place.

Opinions on Red Options advisory service?

For 20$ a strategy should I give it go? At first I was considering their double Diagnol and iron condor advises as I have positive experience with these strategies but their weekly's strategy description looks interesting as well as it includes the use of various types of spreads. Any...
