It's just a gimmick. The price of a coffee in USD will not fluctuate - but the Bitcoin price will fluctuate depending on the USD/BTC exchange rate. So it's really business as usual - pay in USD.

Option greeks aren't important. It's all about the underlying moving in your direction.

Hedging with QQQ options is too expensive. Go to cash for hedging.

The short calls have value - you will never get the theoretical maximum profit. You are better off buying the $222.50 calls only.

You can eliminate the direction variable by always buying calls. In your example you would most likely be ahead if you stuck with calls.
