Can I get one of you to verify my 600% Return over One Month?

Well, its not wrong either maybe, but then its not a level field? margins for various products vary considerably, some fund managers maybe calcuating ROI on the notional value. In which case what you would be saying and what the fund manager would be saying will be different by miles. It is...

What are good futures products for day trading?

You can pick up doing exchange listed spreads if you are just beginning, much easier to make money in, less hft's, mostly mean reverting. Flip side is, you'd need less rountrip costs, since multiple legs are involved.

Can I get one of you to verify my 600% Return over One Month?

I am guessing you are calculating the returns on margin money.(which isnt right) Also its a ton easier converting 800 into 8k, much harder doing it with bigger money

    2014: The Battle for Survival

Good luck man. One part of trading is definitely is about staying tough and keep on trying. Automation may or may not give you the edge you desire, but dont give up hopes on your discretionary trading. There may always be an angle which you havent looked at.

    Exchange membership

Na i doubt it , it prevents traders from trading electronically for two years. Two years is a little too long for it. i had heard about a 6 month restriction but did not have an idea about a two year timeline. Basically cant trade vs previous ECM for two years.

    Exchange membership

Well i do enough roundtrips as an individual trader to go for a lease. just about. But purchasing a seat and going for a lease are two different things. I read somewhere that discounts for the both differ? I am interested in knowing what a Proprietary trading firm, specifically, can do to...

    maybe something related to mental

Curiosity is fine , i trade much the same way. It's hard to keep a $ stop loss in these times, because you dont think along those lines. Fixed it by keeping an iron hard discipline of not losing more than x on any given day.

    Exchange membership

So what I understand is - Trading privilege = getting discount of any kind on fee? and if I had any kind of trading privilege in past 2 years, I cannot get a new privilege i.e get registered as a trader for an ECM, for discounted fee - until two years have passed? I dont see the logic behind...

    Exchange membership

    Exchange membership

The difference for the transaction costs per roundtrip is huge between non members, individual members and equity member. It matters a lot for day trading and for trading spreads., with multiple legs. I understand that getting to be an individual member, is expensive. Definitely out of...

    Using CQG API for C#

Ok, i got a reply from CQG, there seems to be an additonal fee of 45 USD/ month if you want real time data feed for the API, another 245USD if you want order routing for API. Have you ever used it with C#, how is the documentation, is easy to implement?
