Yes, I agree. You can end up with double taxation for small businesses. I just started something new over here, and we chose not to incorporate since the Dutch tax is like 25%, with few write-offs. Just simple pass through income.

If we went back to having an actual gym class, and recess for younger kids, much of the obesity problem could be solved. Not all, and serving better food that may be paid for by taxpayers makes some sense. Much like not allowing food stamps to be used to buy alcohol.

The only way that regulations might save business money is through some sort of stopping litigation. Maybe, with fair practice or things like the Health Department, lawsuits might be stopped that could happen if not for some sort of regulation or inspection. Would have to hear more on this to...
