    They Work in Crypto, ...

I see what you did here. There is this pervasive hate that you have against Bitcoin. Its been nothing but "how do I value it" to every single other complaint. You honestly hate the idea of bitcoin but you can't ever seem to leave this forum. I know you're smart enough to get it, but you...

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

If the reason its fucked is because one car has no air in the tires while the other does, I'd say that is a very big improvement.

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

LOL... this we can both agree on! But seriously, what time frame does this work better on? Can it work on the 1 or 5 min ES or NQ chart? Today we have great ranging action for the first hour followed by this unrelenting rally. Two different types markets. How did this indicator help you put...

Jesus, you don't even need to share it with anyone. Post some trades in real time, or at least show a chart with your trades. If the magic sauce is better than MA's, it should help you get into trades that have a high win rate.

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

I love how often you have killer entries. Thanks for the chart, but I never doubted the entry since I realized its a Lin On Close chart. I too have noticed that those spikes can sometimes be exhaustion spikes, and the perfect place to enter a trade in the opposite direction. You've got some...

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

I agree with the pressure aspect, and I couldn't do it either. (although my trades are usually over in less than a minute... win or lose) But you do post charts with trades clearly marked, so that is miles ahead of what most other posters on here do. (although I realize this is probably only...

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

I love how on your chart, the entry for the last trade doesn't even show up! LOL Of course its a Line on Close chart, and that entry was on the dip down, so I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the trade. But I am curious how you entered it. Did you just hit the market order when you...

Ok.. I'm gonna ask... what is the better way? I myself don't like MA's, but I do love VWAP.

Greg Abbott trying to lure CME out of Chicago

I wonder how much the markets would change if all of a sudden, every HFT firm that is within a mile of the CME all of a sudden didn't have the distance advantage. What would it do to price action if these firms lost their edge until they could re-locate closer?

"Do trendlines work?" + Confluence of support... SP 4200?

As much as I agree with you, just for fun, I will take the other side of this argument. We don't need to know when to buy because we really have no idea if the buying will continue or fizzle out after a 3-5pt rise. So I think all we can do if have a level in mind, call it a range low (even...

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

But as its dropping, it doesn't look like a tail. When it hits what ends up being the low of a bar, it looks like a solid bar. Now sure, you can use a wide stop and wait to see how the bar closes, but what if this bar ends up being 20 points high? Your image maybe doesn't even capture the low...

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

The 50% didn't hold as well. Of course you can have your own rules about how far to let it go against a position, or maybe there was even no entry yet, but I wouldn't exactly say the EMA and 50% levels held.

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

It seems to me here that if the red line is the 200 SMA, it didn't hold as it broke hard on the last bar in the chart.

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

Its funny because if I plot those on my chart, neither the 200 SMA nor the 50% level match up.

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

And how many are profitable? Hershey probably died very poor... no matter how "mature" of a trader he was. Dest does give lots of advice, and has produced lots of PnL screenshots. It would be difficult to think he doesn't trade and doesn't make a killing. But what I didn't like was that he...

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

Exactly right, and hence why its even more important to have enough data to evaluate something. Now I'm not saying that buying the bottom and selling the top of a range is a bad strategy, but to make is profitable will require lots of nuances. By showing trades taken, a person can show these...

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

I must have done something right to inspire you to waste your time replying to me! :D I don't make any claims about my trading, nor am I trying to teach. There is no value to add from my trading thus far, unless of course you want to learn from everything I'm doing wrong. Your trading is high...

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

And how do you evaluate what is logical? We have some members here who claim to do well with Astrology or the Jack Hershey method, which to me seem like crap, but if they can show their trades and prove that their approach has an edge, I'm open to listen. If you find something logical, you are...

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

Trust me, its far too easy to sound smart in trading and yet you can't make a dollar yourself. I could name names on here, but I won't bother. The very best proof is a real time call of your trade with entry price. I don't even care if you don't have a stop or target in mind yet. But at...

Market chop... buy the bottom of the range, sell top of range. Nothing other until range breaks.

After being a here a long time, I have seen far too much of people who say one thing but do another. If you actually learned about how they trade, and then saw their trades, you would realize half of the trades aren't according to the plan. Its just like when someone ask a young person who...
