If you believe in a move, you should buy at market and not miss out because of the bid/ask difference. You can miss alot of good moves because of this.

Laptop is shutting down due to over heating...help needed

How old is it? Maybe take it back if not too old. I found that a dual core processor on my desktop solved the problem of 100% cpu demand. Notebooks have a problem with heat to begin with.

Is there a solution for Economic Inequality?

It is the nature of nature that the strong get stronger and the weak become the prey. Society actually works to create a middle class, which is difficult but begins with education. Eventually, the riches of one side are given back to society (the middle).

    Question about quants

I agree most quants are not good traders. Trading belongs to the performing arts largely. Monroe Trout was a basketball player. Simons offers quants $150k, a fraction of what good traders are paid. Its all in the execution.

might be related to the price of oil dropping about 1:30. The macd histogram is indeed very valuable. I use it on the 15 minute to confirm directional trades.

Is fully automated trading a fantasy? Your opinions here

Like Linda Raschke from Market Wizards stated on her web page...the market shoots all it bullets at once.. after a huge 15 point move, like on the 21st, expect alot of consolidation. On Fridays, not much news anyway.

Is fully automated trading a fantasy? Your opinions here

This is true. Averages $400. Substantially less is about $500. loss...about $100/trade. Not so easy unless fully automated, then it could be easy. Some people do it! That's the main point. Its good to have a target.
