No problem. Yeah I've found most things in IB are possible, but not intuitive. And IB support is def lacking. It works with most. Its the 3 letter ones I think it has more issues with, its like are you sure this is a stock?

OP here is the setting to fix the shift click BS. Set this section how mine is. I use trade ideas as well, and works fine. Every now and then there is a random stock that still makes me click stocks, very rare though.

I just wanted to say I played with this some more, and reverse position doesn't actually market out. Under settings > presets > stocks >primary order it uses those values for the order. "Values entered are for Buy orders and will be flipped for sell orders". So I just adjusted it to be order...

Instead of showing either lot size, or share size, couldn't IB just implement a share size with rounding of 100? "Rounded share size" for that matter make it a user choice option. "Select preferred L2 display" 1) share size 2) rounded share size (100) 3) lot size

You can do $ amount but I haven't seen % amount. Also $ amount must be 100+ shares or it will default to a minimum of 100 shares.

Yep it sucks. If you go to the stable offline version it will be back how you like it, and I don't think those versions update. I'm going to see if I can find the previous "latest" version in an offline and download that. I really hope IB gives an option to switch in the settings. Idk why they...

Looks like share size only has been added to the "latest" build. I went ahead and downloaded the offline version of the time tested version.

Its very common for platforms to show multiples of 100. Most give the user a choice. It's a matter of being less cluttered, more visually appealing and make room for other things. They aren't really changing the shares its just a multiple of 100. I think more important than one or the other is...

Yeah I reread what you said and had edited my reply. I think Tos shows it as 0. Looks like IB either only shows a 1 or doesnt show the price on L2 if its under 100, its hard to tell which is going on.

I don't think you understand what's being shown here. They aren't showing "3" shares they are showing the number 3 to represent 300. So instead of seeing 300, 3000, 30000 it shows 3, 30, 300. I'm not sure what publicly traded company would ever have only 3 shares on either the bid or the ask...
