Welcome Cutten,EliteTrader is a quality forum,there is some good forums in the U.K but they dont match Elitetrader.

I use the Matrox G200MMS,I have never had any problems with it.

I had the Passperfect,Dearborn and STC Material and the STC was by far the best Material.I doubt I would have passed with just the Passperfect Material.I would invest in the STC books/CD'S they have been in the business 30 years.

You will learn more from watching the Optionetics videos than going to their seminars.If you have to go down the Optionetics road,look on Ebay you will be able to buy the whole set of videos for about $300.00 a saving of about $2700.00.

Bob I agree,I bought the Ask Mr Easy Language Book thinking it would be a good starting point and was very disappointed.

6 hours is enough time to answer 250 questions if you do enough study.If I was you I would buy the exam material which comes on CD'S and sit at your PC and continually answer all the questions,thats how I leanrt it and in my opinion the STC Material is the best you get some good deals on...

You can also take further exams to keep your Series 7 license active.

Yes CFD'S are highly leveraged but I wouldnt recommend using the full margin available,margin is a double edged sword.

They are big in the UK,you can open an account with $3,500 and you get 20.1 margin and there is no PDT Rule,the main CFD broker in the UK is www.deal4free.com but they are only good for swingtrading. You could always check out Greentree,I think they have a way around the PDT rule.

If you are going to be swing trading and havent got $25k or series 7 license it might be a good idea to look at CFD'S you will pay a few more cents to get into and out of each trade but you will have no restrictions with doing only a limited amount of trades.As your rewards will be bigger...

I know a few Traders that run a Quad and Dual head card and dont have any problems,you can get brand new Matrox Quad Cards on Ebay quite cheap these days

You can feed 2000I with IB'S feed ,you need a product called Metaserver but you wont have any DataOndemand you will have to collect it all.I would try out Esignal with 2000i,Esignal have just released a peice of software which is free that gives you the dataondemand when you use there feed with...

Greg,I would have to be a bit stupid to try and plot charts if I hadnt subscribed to real time data for that exchange.

I cant plot intraday charts with Tradestation7,I can plot dailys with no problem.Is anyone else having similar problems?????

I used Metaserver with 2000i and the IB Live Feed and had no problems at all.
