Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

JSL_Capital $1,100 was the amount I traded with in those 44 days. The paper value of my account was $6,500.

TorontoTrader obviously you don't know how limiting it is being usually charged $15 and above on every trade

jem I wish that is what they claim I owe them.

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

plugger they are already charging me compound interest on the $4K. In a couple of years, that amount will grow large enough where it makes sense for them to take legal action. This dispute has to be settled ASAP. BTW if anyone is out of control, it is them charging people whatever they want...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

ElectricSavant no, I don't see any mention of arbitration. Furthermore, the IDA, of which X is a member, encourages legal action.

nbates trust me this is real. Can you imagine the way it would affect X's business if I reveal X. I don't want to be held liable for that. And yes, the conduct, I stated, of the company is true.

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

ElectricSavant yes, they arbitrate in Canada, but I'm not sure $6,250 is large enough for arbitration. And Patrick will not admit that a mistake has been made on his or the company's part. I have emphasized compromise greatly, but I don't sense either Patrick or X has any intention of...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

jorgeamado you are very correct, although I do blame the company for taking advantage of a newbie and for misrepresenting its prices as the low. I started trading about a year and half ago, when online stock trading was still pretty new. I didn't pay attention to what I was being charged, and I...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

InvestorTerry when I threatened to take this to my local TV stations, to Small Claims Court, and to various other organizations I was encouraged. I don't know if they think I was bluffing, know I cannot do so legally, are plain stupid, or are hungry for the spotlight. I think this says it...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

plugger yes! This was the fourth different commission fee structure I was given. Don't deal with someone who is so liberal with the commission fee setup. You shouldn't place your confidence with a company that can't get it right in the first place. With IB, the unbundled fees are a minimum of...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

ethos I'm glad you asked that, because one time I made over $20K from a 2¢ buy. I called the company, explained the situation, and got the more than $20K removed from my account. This is the kind of guy I am. If, on the other hand, all indications were that I was being charged correctly, I...

ElectricSavant you are one funny and rude guy. LOL Some here obviously give little importance to integrity and professionalism. I do not expect and will not accept this crap happening by companies in a first world country.

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

No, I didn't expect to pay the $9.95 because I was actually being charged 1¢ per share. I can argue the same thing the other way around: they knew I was being charged only 1¢ per share, and they figured to take advantage of me. After all, I had about 10 email contacts with them during that...

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

ElectricSavant try reading my first post more carefully. Why should the company benefit enormously from this accident that is its cause? 570% on $1,100 in one and half month. I have been willing to compromise from the beginning, but greed has consumed them. The company wants the whole pie.

Charged anew 11,000% of comm. fees for 1900 trades, and 570% of money used to trade

Fighter I spoke to Patrick and had direct contacts with the VP of the company. The manner in which this company conducts itself is disgusting. I thought I was a pretty good customer, and deserve the benefit of the doubt. However, once they saw they squeezed everything they can from me, their...

ElectricSavant Patrick said I will be charged in a certain way, but I wasn't. What right do they have to reclaim the uncharged amounts?

dandxg that will me make so happy. Thank you. It feels good to have some share my point of view, because there is simply no justification for such negligence. And I have a cash account; I'm supposed be protected against debt. Why was I loaned $6,250 without my knowledge?
