Whooaaa. Came back to a bold message from the teacher. Stopped out. Had I been watching the monitor. I would have gotten out early because a sell signal was generated, would have b/e. Wooda, coulda, shooda. Loss of -1.25:mad: Some will, some won't, so what, next FED ANNOUCEMENT...

I "gotta tell you" gotta trade, this phenomena has always puzzled me. Why do traders need lunch anyway. Don't come to work until late morning. I get ths "Vision" of all the trader types running out the doors in Chicago and New York to the local eat spot. Why don't we all just work thru lunch...

This might be a good time to point out that during backtesting I did not rationalize on the lunch hour trades. If the set ups occurred, I took them. That is what I have decided to do here. If I find that a high percentage fail, then I will re-evaluate. But I'm going to stick with it for now.

Stop 987 It's lunchtime, but let's give it a go. If price makes it back up to 990.50, it should break thru this time. If not, there is still room to get our 2 points. Who knows what will happen.

SL 990.25 This one is probably not going to make it . Not for the weak of heart.

If 989 holds, I look for a fairly strong move down. Plan to take profit and reverse if this happens. May not be able to get it in here fast enough. Watch your charts.

Exaz - Good to e-meet you. Same set-up as posted earlier for the 1M chart. I am using a filter which is difficult to put in writing to help me decide which trades to take. I am still experimenting with this and have not posted anything concrete about it yet. I am planning on sharing this as soon...

My suggestion would be to start you own journal. If you build it, they will come. One of my goals is to keep the "crap" to a minimum. That's why I have a very simple system. Take care and good luck.

Avatar, You are welcome here. I think maybe we are not sure about your approach. What are looking trying to accomplish with the request you made. I am certainly confused and do not want to start smoking or anything. Could you be a little clearer on your question. I will try to help you.

Both of the short trades were clearly marked on the charts and confirmed by the filter. All I did was have a little "Vision":eek:

7 Postions Taken 5 Sucessful 1 Failed 1 Breakeven 71% ( I am counting the Breakeven trades as failures) Daily P/L = +13.5 Points 1 contract = $675 Today was a good day. Won't all be this way. Going home to Wilma and Dino. Take care. Hope to be around tommorrow.
