In a competitive game like the stock market is it really possible to have a simple trading strategy that's profitable? If it's simple, someone else is sure to have thought of it before and if it's profitable, they're going to already be using it thereby removing the edge. What do you think?

I didn't sell, I decided to follow my original plan and wait to be stopped out or to reach my target. EMC made a pullback of about 35 cents last time SPX made a pullback. That shouldn't stop me out as long as it's not much more than that.
