ETF Dollar Bull vs Dollar Bear

I would think just like any market it can be going up, down, or sideways but only one at a time. How can the dollar be doing both? I guess that is where my confusion is.

ETF Dollar Bull vs Dollar Bear

I am having a little trouble understanding the idea of a Bullish and Bearish ETF for the dollar... I understand the dollar is pitted against other currencies in forex trading, and I am not sure if this is why there would be 2 ETFs - one for bull and bear; however, I would think just one could...

    Annualizing Returns question

So if quoted a part of book and asked you a question about the grammar of a particular sentence "do drugs bill" you would say considering drugs is so stupid. Yet the entire time would fail to mention it appears the sentence may be missing punctuation and the b in bill should be capitalized...

    Annualizing Returns question

Please don't read too far into this post, especially the first paragraph. This is strictly a math question that I framed within an example. I am reading a book in which the author describes someones expectations of turning 10000 into 15000 in 3 months- in essence a 3-mo return (quarterly) of...

    Charting Futures Question

    Charting Futures Question

Thank you. I saw this, however as a new person with a more complex or maybe a better way to describe it -less familiar - security I think I am and will be looking for confirmation I am heading in the General right direction. I also spoke with their tech support and they confirmed the continous...

    Charting Futures Question

I am very new to futures, and would like to start paper trading them for practice. In looking at stocks their is one chart to see trends etc, but futures expire; so there are many charts (ticker symbols). I use the term ticker symbols since I am planning on importing the futures info AmiBroker...
