Sorry pal. I took you for one those boasters around. Why not me? Lack of money and luck, perhaps. But the whole life is a trade-off. It's my path. My only chance. I have to take it. I will change this sucker nickname and stop crying shortly.

Good point harrytrader. I wholeheartedly agree with you. Also there's big difference between approaching trading from its potential reward and risk. It finally came to my mind that actually successful traders are trading risk and not reward, as summarized in lescor's signature: An...

I see your point. I don't think that there is manipulation in the markets. However I do believe that there are deep pocket guys who as a result are not subject to the mental pressure most traders are. I indeed caught myself sometimes liquidating a position and suddenly the hunch that the...

I have heard this a lot of times and I myself tried to find an edge on sample sizes. Yet that remains a vague concept to me because I cannot see the usefulness of an "edge" without the proper execution. And proper execution cannot be learnt intellectually, it is an existential experience.

I chose this path about three months ago. Little by little I noticed that it's far better not to draw attention upon oneself. That gives me much more freedom of action and thought, and that's basically what I need to take the right course of action when it's warranted.

Right to the point. Actually I cannot say my money is a risk money. And my family partially depends on me. There is a lot of expectation of my achievements, which ends up being quite a burden.

Thank you folks for your support and encouragement. All of your support is appreciated but I would like to address some specific issues that were brought along the lines, which I feel are quite important. >for starters, change name to winner from sucker. and good luck! Only a sucker will...

Yes, I acknowledge that my emotions are what's taking me down. I have been working primarily with the way I think. Yet I know it just isn't enough having balls. I would like to implement a sound money management to get my trading into gear. With regard to my trading I am not daytrading...

Actually I never traded mechanically. It was a conscious choice and I knew there was a price for getting the hard lessons first. Say, up to now I am glad for the knowledge I got trough the tuition. Anyway I will consider with your suggestion. Thanks.

I also agree with easyrider that I need a break for a while. Meanwhile I will read some of Schwager's books. I have already read a few parts and I am aware I might be grateful in the future for not having any luck in my early times. Best of luck to all of you. I have to go for now. Best...

Moreover lack of money to endure a few hits before getting the tide. Also sometimes I wonder if consistent profits is really an achievable goal. Are there any traders around who got it?

I am thinking about giving up trading. After almost two years in the business I just couldn't make a single decent trade. I start to wonder I am not cut out for this. Just can't control my emotions. I see the oportunities but just can't seize them. I also think it's just a matter of time and...

What good do daytraders do to society?

I think that successful speculators take money from society and redistribute it. They are kind of socializing the capital. After all, all they can do with the money they get is to spend it.
