Beautiful Stranger’s Diet and Exercise Journal

This is mine. Of course Wing Chun does not use a Bo but a long pole, typically 8-9 feet. Mine is right at 9' and weighs about 5 pounds.

    Question regarding Brooks' book

The video course is a lot easier to negotiate than the books. While Al is no Shakespearean actor, he makes his points clear and if he repeats many points, they are points which bear repeating. The value in studying Al and it's considerable, is he will teach you to understand the story price is...

Transitioning from Retail Trading to Prop Firm?

If I showed you a 5 minute chart and a weekly chart without labeling market or time frame, you wouldn't be able to identify which was which. If you do the work to understand price behavior and learn where price reactions occur, you are not playing against the institutions and their programs but...

Transitioning from Retail Trading to Prop Firm?

Many on ET confuse investing with full time active trading. I speak as a day trader using reasonable margin leverage. If someone is satisfied with 40% or 20% or whatever, then more power to them. It's not for me or anyone in here to determine someone else's standards or expectations.

That is they have not done the work to understand price behavior and develop and test methodology which gives them an edge and which includes defined signals and...

I can't teach anyone to think as a trader in a handful of phrases but if you let me know what is unclear to you I will try and clarify. I am in a trade so will answer when possible.

Transitioning from Retail Trading to Prop Firm?

Don't confuse the chatter of talking heads, amateurs and ersatz "gurus" with professional traders. The former "call tops and bottoms", the latter recognize what the market wants to do and go along with it. The pro also recognizes when the markets change their mind and make the appropriate...

Transitioning from Retail Trading to Prop Firm?

Anybody can get reasonable returns in a bull market and 40% is nothing to an active trader unless managing well into the millions. Consider the path to becoming a skilled trader not unlike the time and effort required to become any kind of high level professional plus psychological...

    Anything Can Happen™

Being a one trick pony is boring. If one REALLY likes to trade then other instruments makes life more interesting. I don't trade stocks but Gaslight does and if you are paying attention to this thread, you'll note he does quite well at that as well.
