I trade UVXY almost daily. Right re best for daytrading vs. swingtrading. I traded VXX successfully on flash crash day years ago.. Volatility is the toughest thing to trade and for very experienced traders. I'm a dinosaur lol

fwiw I almost always trade premkt, daily, but seldom aftermarket Most of my trades are done 9:35 - 10:30 I usually trade the close, to manage swing trade position size

I sold most inverses during morning run up and rebought small size eod UVXY SQQQ SOXS etc. Finally getting it right re buy the dip sell the rip.

There's no such thing as momentum trader as a formal category, it's day or swing. We can trade pre and aftermarket

im betting a bounce in inverses, reentry orders for inverses here 135pm et, eg im buying uvxy back starting 5.12, soxs sqqq etc
