    TESLA & BTC

To answer your question, the USD is back by the US government, which is the reason its inflation is contained, as opposed to the silly currencies of failing economies. What is BTC backed by? It's also highly inflationary since it can't hold its value against speculation. We know BTC can't be...

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

I'm a newbie trader who happens to have done exceedingly well in 2020 with little effort. So far, 2021 is a humbling year, very difficult for me to make money, but I enjoy the challenge which pushes me to hone in on what I enjoy most, like timing, amounts, variety, risk... There's much for me...

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

Yeah, it hit 21.45 in 09/2018 during a 2 year stint in the 12.5 - 17.7 bracket. Expecting better today is wishful thinking. I'm hoping the same jokers who managed to squeeze the shorts for a few minutes a while back will come back to add the momentum needed to come as close to 21 as possible...

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

I had CLOV at 7.5 and managed to dump it at 10.5 on it last pump and dump. Instead I'm super stuck on SEDG and ENPH... great companies but deep in the hole.

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

Well... To be truthful, I really need AMC to hit 21...:banghead:. I got caught up on the BS of a few months back when brokers froze buying but allowed selling.. o_O 16 is the level at which I am willing to absorb my losses. But now, I may just hold to year end and see where we're at before...

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

Wow, and all I had to do is question the 14 resistance for it to break... Now I know how this works! Just start a thread on ET :D

Is Cathie Wood funds in big trouble?

Goodness, 1942 you say? Geez, Hitler had already invaded most of Europe by then and the gaz chambers were in full swing... Perhaps Europe should thank the German navy for their skills at destroying US ships on the US East Coast or else everything else would only have elicited a yawn...

Is Cathie Wood funds in big trouble?

http://www.100letprve.si/en/world_war_1/casualties/index.html The French lost a lot of men during WWI. It's easy for Americans to point to Versailles as the cause of WW2, but the US, again, showed up late in the battle and suffered the least casualties. They could take a 10,000 ft view of...

    Creating enemies is a business

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/worlds-top-countries-for-military-spending/ A couple thoughts jumped at me when looking at the graph. Republicans are up in arms about the debt and the so called recovery money being handed out, but let's all be very clear, America is going bankrupt because of...

    Consensus about AMC breaking 14?

AMC is enjoying a tailwind with cash influx and the reopening of its theaters, but short pressure is keeping price from breaking 14. If anyone's radar is even remotely tracking this stock, what's your thoughts? I'm looking for at least 16 by year end... or .

Why should the past have the slightest predictive power for the future?

Humans are creatures of habits, even our thought process seeks repetition to minimize efforts. Probabilistic predictions are often quite accurate within proper parameters.

Is Cathie Wood funds in big trouble?

That's true, the French were no match to the Germans in 1939 for fair reasons. The politicians and generals had experienced the devastation of WW I and couldn't fathom another war, the French population was divided over stopping Hitler in part because the most vociferous anti nazis were the...

Dogecoin price’s ‘make-or-break’ moment looms with Elon Musk set to host ‘Saturday Night Live’

A sample does not a trend make. I imagine many MSFT, AMZN or TSLA stock holders have been mocked for holding loser shares. Imagine their immense pleasure

    Correction coming, or crash?

I personally take no pleasure in seeing others lose everything, but I agree with you that retail traders of the last couple of years (I'm one of those) have only known upward markets and are having a rude awakening with the market so far this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see 10% of the most...

These last few days are a breath of fresh air to me...

I'm not expert, but it takes some pretty big balls to do what she's doing. Things are particularly bad in her sector right now (down 30+%) and a big general correction will further exacerbate that down trend. I suppose she doesn't have a choice since she's so deep in poorly performing...

    Correction coming, or crash?

Anyone long in tech can tell you we've been in correction territory since mid February. Just ask ARK's Cathie Wood. Actually, if I use my 401k fund as a barometer, 2020 returned 98% while 2021 to-date it's struggling to hold 2.5%
