Offtopic, one of the few great trading books I bought was called "the book of charts ", handmade/kinko's, cost $100. Mostly had bullish cups aka happy faces. Truly useful, from early 2000s, 8 1/2 x 11 x 100pp., I ended up liking it so much I used it as a mouse pad :p it actually helped

Of course not. My point is that educators simply show proof that they really trade. Like a recent blotter. That's completely different from making performance claims. Like claiming x% wins. Let's get back on topic

There is a huge difference between a coach and an educator. A trading psychology type coach does not necessarily need to be an active trader, because they focus on the mental aspects like discipline. Though I think it would help if they traded. But an educator must be a genuine real trader...

Makes little difference imo... gets into causation vs correlation debate what matters most is using successful strategies consistently. I'd be looking at discipline, quantitative focus, risk management skills etc
