This is but ONE form of TA, yes....but this is NOT the only definition. ANY market data used to make a trade decision is TA.

You are wrong, some of us have been doing this for decades or more....it's not 'luck' it's pure skill. I do not expect someone who isn't fully in it to understand this though

Hasn't been my experience. Sure first couple years were spent learning but since late '99 I have been successfully trading full time and have never looked back. I'm sure a lot of people waste their time but the serious traders learn what they need to learn in order to thrive.
