    Karen the "Supertrader"

Imagine seeing one night on the evening news Tom Sosnoff being carried out in shackles for alleged fraud. Could such a thing ever possibly happen given the history of trust betrayal on Wall Street?

    Karen the "Supertrader"

I found there to be many details missing--enough so that I question whether we have any idea what the "strategy" is (or if there is one, or if the story is real--hence my reason for starting this thread). For example, when the position gets pressured she simply claims to roll to whatever strike...

    Karen the "Supertrader"

This is the strongest reason why I tend to believe the story. In actuality though, it's not a reason at all. Some of the biggest con artists in Wall Street history have been trusted by the masses until their mugs ended up on "American Greed" (CNBC television series).

    Karen the "Supertrader"

She's selling naked strangles, not ICs.

    Karen the "Supertrader"

She does claim to have escaped the financial crisis in 2008. Given that she starts with 50% allocation, does this seem reasonable?

    Great summary, Pekalo.

    Karen the "Supertrader"

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the lady from several years ago. Any idea what her name was? I posted here because I've yet to hear anybody voice skepticism about her story. I think one of the reasons may be because Sosnoff is presenting her. Many people respect him so much from TOS...

Why don't you think it possible to blow out on the upside?

    Karen the "Supertrader"

I can't prove it's a fraud any more than I can prove it's true. I do think we could go through the videos and identify many suspicious details, however.

    Karen the "Supertrader"

"Karen the Supertrader" has been featured on Tasty Trade twice (both sessions are available on YouTube). She turned $100K of her own money into $800K or so and then started raising money from others and now trades two or three funds that have amassed $105M in trading profits all from selling...

Mark Fishers - ACD System from "The Logical trader"

So... should I bother reading this book? I just got it from the library after being on a four-week wait list, the reaction here seems mixed, and at www.thelogicaltrader.net I see an ACD annual subscription listed for $1,895.

    Barry Burns -- topdogtrading.com

I'm looking it over as well. I did a BBB search for "Top Gun Trading" under California and didn't find anything. I did perform a couple GOOG searches, however, and his name (and picture) came up under some sort of advertisement video about how to make lots of money through MMM programs...
